In the first stage, we will test your practical skills in exercising your business knowledge, as well as how effectively are your research skills.

Each team will receive a 20 question multiple choice test with problems of varying difficulty. The subject matter of the tasks will revolve around everyday issues in the business world. You can expect questions on the basics of economics, management, finance, and financial analysis, as well as entrepreneurship in Stage I.

You will get 7 days to solve the test and check your answers thoroughly. Teams are allowed to research and look for solutions in the literature.

Teams with the highest number of points (Poland 25 teams, Hungary 15 teams, Czech Republic 15 teams, Slovakia 10 teams) will be promoted to the next stage.

The teams qualified for the Provincial Stage will have to face the task in the form of a business case study, for which solution there will be 14 days.

A case study is the most popular form of testing candidates' ability to solve real business problems. Anyone interested in pursuing a professional career will sure meet it more than once, and, at HSBC, you have the opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Then, the teams will present the results of their work to a committee composed of experts and business representatives. They will assess the solution and evaluate the depth of your analysis.

This stage will test your creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, problem resolution, and teamwork, as well as inquisitiveness and professionalism.

The organizers will select at least one, best scoring, team from each region (to a total of five teams) to compete in the National Stage.

The cases will become available at 6 PM on the 8th of April. The teams will have time until 10 AM on the 10th of April to send them in, as presentations will start at 11 AM.

The second stage of HSBC will last for three days and will take place online. Each day, participants will tackle a series of tasks, mostly case studies, concluded with a presentation in front of a jury on Saturday.

National Stage is very dynamic,it will require you to manage your time very wisely, to keep flexible, and react quickly to the changing circumstances.

The results of your work will be evaluated by a committee consisting of experts from the world of science and business. They will select the one best team, from each country, to compete in the International Final.

On Sunday, competitors will have an opportunity to participate in a workshop conducted by an affiliated expert.

The best teams from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic will take part in the International Final.

The event will take place in Warsaw, where for 3 days, the participants will again be met with case study-based tasks. As in the previous stages, the participants will present their solutions to a committee consisting of the partners of the event, experts, and professionals.

After the daily portions of the competition, the participants will explore Warsaw through joint sightseeing, and get to know each other on planned events.

The week will end with a final gala, where the prices will be awarded. For this year, the total pool amounts to 6 000€!
