The summer holidays are over, and for students, the school year has already started for good. Thus, the work of the organising team of the next, already the 8th, edition of the High School Business Challenge has started intensively.
But before we provide you with information on the upcoming edition of the competition, here is a summary of the international final of the 7th High School Business Challenge!
The beginning of July was a very intensive period for the contestants, on the 6th of July the best teams from four countries: „Vygrachanci“ representing the Czech Republic, „Medallion“ representing Poland, „GBAS Flexers C.B.“ representing Slovakia and „Warrin Buffet“ representing Hungary, came to Warsaw to face the final battle for victory in the 7th edition of the High School Business Challenge, and have a lot of fun at the same time.
For two days the participants were solving competition cases and preparing presentations, which they proudly presented on 9th July at one of the halls of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. During their stay in Warsaw, in addition to working on their tasks, the participants had many attractions waiting for them, such as going out to restaurants, workshops or visiting the capital in the form of an exciting city game. The last day of the international final was crowned with a Gala in the Stock Exchange building, where participants, organisers, judges, patrons, and partners had the opportunity to sum up the event and officially thank everyone for their invaluable contribution to the project.
The key moment of the event was the announcement of the competition results. Among the teams representing the Visegrad Group countries, it was the Slovak team „GBAS FLEXERS C.B.“ who managed to win the main prize worth €2,400! Big applause for Samuel Mihalčík, Šimon Pekar, Filip Chobor, Anton Krilek, Gabriel Berger and team mentor Andrej Mokriš! The competition at this year’s High School Business Challenge was extremely high. While working on the competition tasks, the participants demonstrated great knowledge and impressive skills in cooperation and coping with time pressure. Congratulations to all the teams, you did a great job!
